Middle-aged Leo lives with his wife Diana and their two children in a suburban terraced house. The love between the spouses has faded, leaving behind only a monotonous life together held by habit. Leo’s only solace is the time spent with his children, as he has given up on striving for anything better in both his marriage and his career. After an embarrassing incident involving online pornography, Leo begins to long for something real—he wants to find someone who can offer him genuine intimacy. In pursuit of this feeling, Leo falls into a blackmail trap set by Karl, a man with a criminal background. Suddenly, he is faced with something very real indeed, which threatens to make him lose everything.
